At Hemlock, their middle school students choose actually their House names, which explains their general awesomeness. So how do they do it? Each respective grade-level body elects their grades' character mascot for their four years in the school.
Then, their Student Council creates the Mascot and House Colors and leads their House competitions, like Color Wars and Field Day.
