This idea comes from our partner school; “The Mighty” Moses McKissack Middle School (MMMS). Their mascot is the Tigers, which ties directly to their school-wide expectations as “Tigers” breaks down to:
MMMS needed a way to tie their new house system back to the behavior plan they were already following. They also wanted a way to create houses that felt different but still connected to the school community as a whole. That’s why they chose to name their houses after the various types of Tigers around the world. They have house pride, but they are all still Tigers!
