How It Started
In 2011, Matt was a middle school teacher in Nashville, trying to keep up with his school's paper-based behavior system. Students loved the recognition and weekly celebrations, but teachers were drowning in paperwork. Matt thought there had to be a better way. Within weeks of coding a prototype, the 5th grade team was awarding points on iPads and saving 2 hours a week.
