How do I write a funding request that gets a yes?

AdminSite LeaderWorks on Web

Whoever you are asking, three things move a request from maybe to yes:

  • A specific dollar amount and scope. "We need $X to renew LiveSchool for next year" beats a general ask.
  • Outcome data. Attendance, behavior referrals, teacher feedback or student engagement since you started LiveSchool.
  • Language that matches the funder's priorities. For Title IV-A, name Section 4108. For Title I, connect to academic achievement. For a local foundation, mirror the words in its own materials.

No data yet? Ask us. We can help you build a one-page impact summary, aligned to the Title IV-A content areas and using your school's own outcomes. That page often turns a maybe into a yes with a Federal Programs Coordinator or a foundation board.
