What happens if there is a data breach?

We notify your district within two business days. A breach means any unauthorized access, use or disclosure of student data. If we become aware of one, we will:

1. Contain and mitigate it immediately.
2. Notify your district within two business days.
3. Tell you what happened: the breach and affected systems, the types of data involved, the window of exposure, and the remediation taken and planned.
4. Coordinate any legally required notifications to affected individuals.

LiveSchool absorbs all costs of remediation attributable to our systems.
