Did an edited screen change any real points or records?

No. When a student edits the text in their browser:

• No points changed. The real totals are on our servers, untouched.
• No records were altered. Nothing was saved, so nothing needs repair.
• Nobody's account was accessed. No password was involved.
• Nothing shows up in reports. Your Timeline and dashboards read the real data.

A screenshot taken this way is not evidence of anything. If a student sends one claiming points were added or a name was changed, reload the screen yourself.

It is worth telling students this directly. What they are showing you is less impressive than it looks.
