Virtual School

Any virtual school can use a rubric like this to define the expectations for student behavior and success within a unique virtual environment. The rubric is divided into distinct sections that guide student conduct, including Respect & Digital Citizenship, which covers online interactions and communication; Responsibility, which focuses on student accountability and work completion; and Excellence, which emphasizes a high standard of academic performance and preparation. A dedicated Asynchronous section specifically addresses student progress within the school's Online Learning System (OLS). Through a comprehensive rubric, a virtual school can prepare students to be successful not only in the classroom, but also as productive and responsible members of a digital society.
